Sees homegroup but not shared folders

Setup seems to go well up until it tries to find/write to my computer. It shows that it's on my MSHOME network and it identifies mine and my wife's computers but it doesn't see any of the shared folders. I went in and made sure that my shared folders are set to share with EVERYONE and do not require a password. I can view/write files into my shared folders so I'm not sure what else I can do to make this app work. If I can get this app to work, I would definitely buy the paid version because it's exactly what I need. Thanks in advance for any help.

Well, i now have it so it can see my shared folders but when I select a folder it says it can't see any shared files. Am I supposed to put files in here? I put a picture in and made sure it was shared and it didn't see it. The app says my username and/or password are wrong, but if I delete it, it wont' see my network so I know the username/password is correct. The app acts like it's looking for a particular file before it will start associating itself with my folder. This app is exactly what I need. I am so close I can taste it but I can't figure out what the final hurdle is. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
