Post LanSpeedTest - What does test packet size represent?

    Hi

Test Packet size shows 1MB but there is no packet size greater than 1500 bytes.
So what does test packet size really represent?

    Hi,

LAN Speed Test's Test Packet size is the size of the packet being sent before there is Acknowledgement sent back. The smaller the Packet Size, the more time spent sending/waiting for Acknowledgements and usually performance is hindered. With slow connections, then you want to start with small packets and work your way up to find the optimum packet size. The internal packet size that you are seeing of 1500 bytes is set by Windows and your OS setup.
