    More flexibility scheduling repeat tests

    Hi,

I just starting using LAN Speed Test and find it very useful. One issue I have though is I want to run a repeated test every 30 minutes and can found I can only repeat a test every 1-60 seconds. When I put 1800 seconds in the command line the program errors (which is expected per the help file). As a workaround I will use the built in Windows task scheduler.

Update: My test using task schedule to call the exe every 30 mins failed due to the GUI window staying open after the command is run. How do you suggest I run your test tool every 30 minutes?

    Hi,

Thanks for the comments. I have made this change in an 'unofficial update'. Check it out...

Here is a link to the update…

    http://www.totusoft.com/files/LAN_Sp...t343_Setup.exe

Here’s some of the changes since the official release (v3.4)…
    v3.4.3
    - Update clear cache routine – major speed increase
    - Add Write/Read Times to Log
    v3.4.2
    - Folder or Server IP was limited to 32 chars - now unlimited
    v3.4.1
    - ‘Wait Time’ has been extended from 1-60 seconds to 1-3600 seconds from command line. GUI will get updated in v3.5

Just download the new setup program and install right over the old installation. No need to uninstall the older version first.
    Thanks,
    -Pete
