I am currently having a problem with getting the (otherwise awesome) app to work.

I get a very brief message saying something along the lines of "system cannot find the file specified", but the transfer window is closed on failure and I havent been able to find a log file on the phone.

I'd suggest providing a log file with a direct link to it from the application menu.
In addition, I think it would be helpful to keep the transfer view open in case if failure, so it would be possible to identify where in the process it fails.
