    Smile New network test

    Hello,

I've just setup my network at home, it's done by an electrician but it didn't check the connections (only continuity).

So I was wondering if LAN Speed test was enough or if I should get (or rent) a network tester ? Advices welcome.

I've detected a problem on one of my plug (very very) low result, second line on the table below.

I've read the help of LAN speed but still don't realy understand why the read speed is lower using LST server ?

    Test-results.jpg

First line is a test with my wifi.
    Second is the problematic plug
The first six line have been made from laptop to DS214 Synology NAS
Then I have bought LST server and made measurement from latop to LST server on my main computer

My Laptop : Toshiba satellite L830
    core i3 2367M
    SSD MP3-pro Plextor
    RAM 4GB
Win 7 64 bits familly edition

    Main computer
    core i7 2600k
    RAM 16GB
    SSD samsung 400 evo
    MB Asus P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3

Switch is a Schneider electric Gigabit integrated in the network table
All plugs are also Schneider Electric S-ONE connector cat 6A
    "Wall" cable is grade3
    Pacth cord are cat 6A
"link" cord from wall plug to laptop / computer car 5e (I suppose).

    Thanks for reading .

    Attached better quality results
