Virustotal alert
I was planning on testing LAN speed v1.1.7 before purchasing LAN speed v2.0.8 so that I could run some tests on my network. My usual procedure is to download the program, scan it via virustotal, and then play with it after confirming its general safety. However, for LAN speed v1.1.7, a warning was issued by thehacker for Posible_Worm32 . This probably doesn't mean much since anti-virus programs usually raise alerts for network software but any input into this matter would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi guys. Yes these are false positives. I use compression (AppCompactor) on the final release and sometimes a few overzeleous AV engines do not like that. I have submitted it to those av companies in the past, but it's hard to keep up with each update. I thoroughly test each program before release (with both - https://www.virustotal.com and http://www.virscan.org) and so do many others - ie. download.com, pcmagazine, etc. before they post the programs to their sites. I'm currently working on the latest releases for LAN Speed Test & LST Server and will catch up with those few AV companies again after that.
